Dear Memorial Families,

Welcome to Memorial Elementary School. I am pleased to welcome each of you. Memorial Elementary is an academic institution that prides itself on being academically challenging, while developing a lifelong love of learning in every student. The exceptional staff is committed to ensuring educational success for all.

Memorial is a Leader in Me School. Our students are taught the 7 Habits and they are integrated into our curriculum on a daily basis. Part of that process involves students setting goals for themselves and keeping track of their progress in attaining their goals. We also believe that every child is and can be a leader. That’s why it is important that they know the 7 habits, make positive contributions to their learning, and challenge themselves. Implementing the 7 Habits will help us ensure that we have a learning environment that promotes a positive, respectful, and kind school community.

Communication is important at Memorial Elementary. I hope that you find our site to be a useful and informative resource to stay connected to your child's school. In addition to our website, school information is made available to our Memorial families through our monthly parent newsletter and calendar, phone and email messages, our school Facebook page, teacher communications, and our school marquee.
