About Me

I was born and raised in Weslaco, Texas. I was an honor graduate of Weslaco High School: Class of ’94. From there I went on to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M –Kingsville; where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998. Once I graduated, I worked as a Physical Education Teacher for 3 years and a Career and Technology Counselor for 7, all while being an Athletic Coach in Edcouch Elsa ISD. I attained my Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas Pan American in 2002. In 2008, I was hired by Memorial to be your school counselor. In 2011, I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M- Kingsville. I LOVE my job and the students at Memorial Elementary. It is an honor and a pleasure to serve each and every one of you!
